Vegan Panettone

Vegan Panettone

Panettone is a traditional soft cake dessert in the region of Milan, Lombardy, but can be found everywhere around Italy during the Christmas holidays. It is the big holiday treat that everyone wants! You will notice it by its large, sweet, bread like appearance. There is Panettone with raisins, without raisins, chocolate, vanilla, powdered sugar, plain, just about every flavor.

Unfortunately, what you will find in the supermarkets or even fresh bakeries, is not vegan friendly.

panettone-veganThere is one website we found where you can buy vegan panettone. Shipment is only within Italy. It is 9 Euro for a 750 gram panettone.
